The closest metro station to Tersane Istanbul is Şişhane Metro Station, located approximately 1.7 km away. Şişhane Metro Station is served by the M2 Yenikapı–Seyrantepe–Hacıosman Metro Line. A complimentary shuttle service is available from the Kasımpaşa exit of Şişhane Metro Station to Tersane Istanbul. Shuttles depart at 09:30 and 10:00, then every hour until 21:00. Tersane Istanbul can also be reached from Deniz Hastanesi Bus Stop, located approximately 110 m from Şişhane Metro Station, via the B34 Şişhane–Okmeydanı–Şişli line.

One of the closest piers for sea transportation to Tersane Istanbul is Kasımpaşa Ferry Pier, located approximately 1.2 km away on foot. Üsküdar–Haliç, Kadıköy–Haliç and Beşiktaş–Haliç ferry lines serve Kasımpaşa Ferry Pier. İBB Sea Taxi has a stop at Tersane Istanbul.
